The Gentleman's game...., and some other stuff...

I'm depressed..., my nations cricket team that had showed so much promise, turned in their "Man Cards" on Monday in South Africa. After two stunning wins against two decent teams they were into the semi's.

Another well played and thought out performance against a good team, put them into the finals. But low, who should they find? That's right, our wanky big brother and he was aiming for late night penetration!!

In a surprising twist though, the new keeper for Oz is really quite cute. He is the one standing. 

After a poor batting performance that allowed the Aussie quicks to dominate through the bulk of the innings, we posted a paltry score. A score which was picked off fairly easily. So yes I am depressed, and it has put me in a foul mood.

In other news, there is some movement going on at work. It seems that in the infinite wisdom of the brainstrust, the department we are housed next too has been moved. Pain the arse really, because we relied on them for a great many things..., terrible..., oh yes! But great! Of course, this means that we are going to benefit from some of the now unused space. Finally I will not be crunched into the far corner!! I have no idea when we will expand, but it shouldn't be in the too distant future.

I also want to take this opportunity to say thanks. I have been around for a couple of months now, and have picked up more followers than I thought possible. If you produced the drivel that I do, you would be surprised as well. So here it is boys (I don't think there are any girls reading this, so they get left out!)...,
