So appropriate, that phrase, is to my life right now. I wake up in the morning, read a few of the overnight blogs, well overnight to me anyway. I then get ready and go to work. At work I spend eight hours on the phone to god only knows who, yelling, or asking inane shit. I then jump in my Jeep, and trundle home, usually via a few stores, cafes, bars. Occasionally, I visit a few friends, or meet up at said cafes, bars.
What I miss, and I truely do miss this, is having someone to come home to. I have never been much for relationships, they always seem to end badly. Or atleast I pull the pin when they look like they are going south. But, I do miss the companionship. Someone who is there for you when you are down. Someone to cuddle close to on those chilly evenings. Someone to watch a good film with.
What I really need is, the guy of my dreams to just swoop in, and sweep me off my feet....

6 Tactical Suggestions...:
Although dogs are more loyal than humans, a significant other is exactly what everyone needs. ^__^
You'll find someone.
We all do.
That is remarkably chipper for you Liam?
Borrow a dog.
Dogs are great ice breakers.
I don't think a dog would be your answer - I have an old dog that is my best friend and had her mother before her - died of old age. Reading your blog I see you need more. I think in one of your previous posts you mentioned truck driving. If the chance to do that was an option it would be a great chance to meet a greater variety of people and maybe THE ONE.Just a thought.
Kindest regards Stef.
The dog is a great solution, not only because he can be a great loyal companion, but because he can attract others to you. I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who everyone one to get to know. Take your dog to the dogpark, the beach, or any outdoor place where guys might congregate and he will be a magnet for you. Warning, however, the PWC attracts as many gals as guys though!
I get your point - fully. Maybe a dog is a way in this, however it's a long term engagement. As someone previously said, why don't you borrow a dog for some time and see how it goes?
