This is a multi part post, so beer with me...
Now I bring this up, because it appears that a lot of bloggers out there seem to have an aversion to "Fat" people. I would like to say that just because I am no Adonis, does not make me a bad person, or a sweaty old perv. We are all different, and we all have different things to offer. I am smart, intelligent, witty, charismatic, and handy to have to around. I am also loyal, romantic, caring and cuddly. However if you were to walk past me on the street, you would never know these things, and to be honest, you would be sorely missing out on a damn fine experience. I know that sounds conceited, but who gives a fuck! In the immortal words of Popeye..., "I yam what I yam!"
All I am asking is that people get to know me before they judge me.
Having said that, I had an experience that I thought I would share...
It was when I was working in a small rural farm town as a Hotel Manager. I was about 25 I think. Anyways, I had spent a very nice evening with my boyfriend at the time. At the end of the night he decided to go home, as he had to be up early the next day for work, and he hadn't brought any of his work gear with him. We had been drinking that night, so he decided that rather than borrow my car (I lived at the Hotel I managed.), he would walk home. Now the town in question was not the safest after dark, so I went with him.
Here is where it gets interesting. On the way to his, walking down dark streets. There are lights of course, but the town was very green, so there was a tree every five metres or so, which blocked most of the light. Now to be honest, we were holding hands, so it was kinda obvious. Also I was openly gay at the time, and being a small town everyone knew about it! So anyways, we had just passed the local police station and turned down his street, we were only a couple of minutes away from his. When we saw a group of young braves coming towards us. I thought that they would just pass us by, I was wrong.
They stopped short about 5 metres ahead of us, and started through barbed and homophobic statements at us. So not wanting any trouble I said to my B/F, lets just go back to mine, knowing that we would be passing the copshop again and thinking that that would discourage any kind of tail. Nope, they started after us, getting louder and more threatening. It was at that point that I decided enough was enough. Like I said earlier I am a big guy, and not all of it is fat!
I said to my b/f, "When I tell you to, run". I then turned back to the braves and said, something like "Fuck off!". That only stopped them for a second, so i yelled run, and my b/f bolted! He was beautiful, and very lovely..., but more of a lover not a fighter, and I knew that in the inevitable conflict he would be more of a hindrance than a help.
Anyways, I am seriously outnumbered, and I know I can't hold them off for long if they rush me. However, it turned out that this was one of those brave initiation things, so only one approached me at first. The fight was short lived, as the brave in question had no fucking clue what he was doing, and so just flailed punches madly. I caught a couple but managed to sidestep most of them, then I laid in with a punch to the side of his head, followed by a sweeping kick to the ankle, that put him off balance. That is when it all turned bad for me, as the rest of the crew, seeing their boy go down decided they should help him. They came at me all at once, I managed to take out another, but then went down to overwhelming force.
The story has a happy ending though. My b/f, had run straight to the police station. It was closed, but there was always someone there. So apparently, he had banged on the door and screamed his lungs out, until someone came. So as I went down, I heard the best sound I had ever heard in my life, and all I could see through the press of bodies and the kicks and punches, was the red and blue lights of a cop car. The cop in question was the senior constable, and a good friend of mine, and also ex army. The braves weren't brave enough to mess with him, and scarpered. All that was left was the two I had taken down, me and the copper. He threw the two braves in the car, having checked that they weren't seriously hurt, then called me an ambulance.
I spent ten hours in hospital, not the best I can tell you. Still I healed, my b/f didn't. He was so scared he moved to the city. We still saw eachother for a while after that, as the city in question was only about 20 minutes away by car. He never went back to that town though, I doubt he ever will.
As a side note, coppers always drank for free in any establishment I ever ran. Consequently, I have a disproportionate amount of friends in blue!!
So I don't want to sound like a "Comment Whore" or anything, but I don't seem to get many comments. I only bring this up because, without them, I don't know in what direction I should go with this thing. Do you guys like what I write? Do you find it interesting/informative?
I need you to tell me, so that I don't just fill up wit useless ramblings and the like. So please, if yiou are reading let me know what you think.

4 Tactical Suggestions...:
What can I say. Thanks for sharing? Well done fighting those idiots? Life can be so cruel, all we can do is live and learn. Try make the best of it.
For the comments, I know... it's tough. A piece of advice though. Write whatever is important to you. That's what makes blogging interesting.

Thanks chap. Now how about that cake and tea??
Courage and Honour.
Octavius.
The cake was prefect. Still a touch of creamyness inside, just the way I want it. I have to say it; my cake was almost brought to prefection lol
Unfortunately the coffee wasn't espresso, just the plain strong coffe we make over here. I guess you better come over and try it. According to my humble opinion, it totally beats the espresso.
